About the Company

PBT repertoire is a varied blend of Balachine, Paul Taylor, Alvin Ailey, Agnes de Mille, Choo-San Goh. Lynne Taylor-Corbett, John Cranko and many other 20th century masters of dance. The company also has in its repertoire a number of the classical 19th century ballets, such as Swan Lake, Coppelia, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote and The Sleeping Beauty.

This season promises to be especially exciting with the return of Ben Stevenson's Dracula, and a Jazz Project in collaboration with the Manchester Craftsmen's Guild. The music of Billy Strayhorn and the Ray Brown Trio with Stanley Turrentine, and the choreography of Dwight Rhoden, Lynn Taylor-Corbett and Kevin O'Day will celebrate jazz with Pittsburgh roots in the premeire of Indigo in Motion.
